How to Use Triphala Powder

  1. At Night (most common method)
  • Powder: 1/2 to 1 tsp Triphala powder with warm water before bed. Helps detox and supports smooth digestion.
  • Tablets/Capsules: 1-2 tablets with warm water if you don’t like the taste.
  1. Morning Use (gentle detox)
  • Soak 1 tsp of Triphala powder in a cup of warm water overnight. Strain and drink on an empty stomach in the morning.
  1. For Skin & Eyes (external use)
  • Eye Wash: Make a mild decoction, cool it, and use it to rinse eyes (consult a practitioner first).
  • Face Pack: Mix Triphala powder with honey or rose water to make a paste for acne-prone or dull skin.
  1. Triphala Tea
  • Boil 1/2 tsp powder in water for 5 mins. Strain and drink warm. Can add a drop of honey (after it cools).
